Grandfather's House is very comfortable and modern residence. The property has 4 bedrooms, a peaceful garden, and a large outdoor terrace. The 9m x 4m pool is secured by a fence and a gate. The house remains naturally cool throughout the summer due to the geothermal floor cooling located underneath the property.

The house is completely self-sufficient. It is equipped for 8 persons with 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an additional shower room.

The ground floor consists of a modern kitchen which opens onto an open-plan dining and lounge room; 2 bedrooms each equipped with a double bed; a bathroom and a WC. The kitchen and dining room have a southerly aspect and open onto the large terrace, with sunny bay windows. The living room faces east onto a small terrace.

On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with two single beds; a bathroom with bath; and separate WC.

There is a garage with an electric roller door that provides space for one car.

The kitchen is equipped with all modern basic amenities: dishwasher, microwave, freezer, stove, plus washing machine in the laundry. As you can see from the pictures, the house is very comfortable and well equipped.

The property is located in Ucel, 2km from Aubenas in the south of Ardèche (not to be confused with Ussel) and approximately 25km from Vallon Pont D'arc and the opening of the famous gorges of Ardeche. Montelimar TGV and Valence TGV are an hour away by bus. We live nearby, about 500m away, and therefore can easily assist with any problems.

The property is situated in the country, with easy access by foot or bike paths to all the local attractions and facilities. The Ardèche River flows just 400m from the house. A bakery and a small supermarket are approximately 400m down the road. Otherwise in Aubenas (2.5km) you will find many shops, supermarket and a hypermarket. There are also numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and cinemas.

The cost of cleaning during or after your stay is 10 euros per hour.

A 25% discount is offered if you are only two, except during the school holidays.

A cheque of 25% deposit is now required when signing the lease; the balance must be paid 1 month before your arrival. A deposit of 2000 Euros must be paid upon arrival, and the cheque will be returned upon departure – except if there is a problem.
